The site Last Year's Model is promoting the long-term use of gadgets. It is really smart for both environmental and budgetary reasons. If you buy good products to start with, you should be able to either continue using them or change them to serve new needs. Gina Trapani, the fearless leader of Smarterware, formerly of Lifehacker, still uses her XBox as a media center. I think that's great!
